IntuitionLearning to trust my intuition, listen to my body’s needs and most importantly honouring them is an ever evolving daily practice for me‍♀️

My head loves to get in the way and define what “success” means and sets the metrics by which I measure myself‍

My head always convinces me I can control the journey, it’s elements and the outcome

Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way

“No Pain, No Gain” is what I was taught and took on growing up and listening to the little voice coming from within saying “take a break,” “you need rest,” “no need to rush,” felt patronizing and slow so I resisted rest and patience devaluing them as a necessary part of the journey.

What if?

It could be “No Pain, All Gain?”

Meditating, journaling and self-care time are three of the 7 pillars of the FitMama Foundations that offer me the space I need to hear the messages from within – which then give me the opportunity to really listen and honour my needs‍♀️
